Rachel Ann Burke is a Cambridge native. She received her early training under Larissa Luvisichuk in the Vaganova method then went on to study at Boston Ballet and Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. She also spent summers at American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, and Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet. Following her early education she went on to receive her B.F.A in Dance and Ballet Pedigogy from The Boston Conservatory under partial scholarship. Rachel has been teaching creative movement and pre-Ballet classes for 14 years. She is excited to expand into teaching family and me classes at IPAC. Since then she has danced with various companies and choreographers in the Boston area including Contrapose Dance, Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre, works by Gino de Marco, Tony Williams, and David Drummond. Rachel is excited and honored to be dancing with North Atlantic Dance Theatre, to expand as a performer and to be part of the IPAC family.
